Terms of Service

By downloading, opening or using inkWallpaper you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if that is higher, to create an account. If you are under 18, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian. You are responsible for everything done through your account.

Accounts are created with Sign in with Apple. Keep your device and Apple Account secure — anyone who can unlock your device can use your account. You may delete your account at any time from inside the app; deletion is permanent and erases your content and any remaining credits.

You are responsible for what you put into the app and what you publish from it. You agree not to create, upload or publish content that:

You keep ownership of the photos and prompts you provide and, as between you and us, of the results generated from them. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including permission from any identifiable person shown in a photo.

You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process and transmit your content strictly to operate the service for you — generating your result, storing it in your library and showing it back to you. This licence ends when the content is deleted.

If you choose to publish a wallpaper to the community gallery, you additionally grant us and other users a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display, download, use and remix that wallpaper within the app for as long as it stays published. Publishing is entirely optional and reversible: unpublish it and the licence ends for future use.

Results are produced by third-party generative models. They are probabilistic: the same prompt can produce different results, output may not match your description, and it may resemble existing works. We make no promise that any result is unique, accurate, or suitable for a particular purpose, and you are responsible for how you use it.

AI providers may reject a request under their own safety policies. When that happens the generation fails and its credits are returned to you.

Uploaded images and any text you publish are screened by an automated safety filter before they are accepted. We may also review, refuse, remove or unpublish content, and suspend or terminate accounts, where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken. Serious or repeated violations lead to permanent termination without refund.

If you think something was removed in error, or you want to report content, write to support@inkwallpaper.app.

The app, this website, the inkWallpaper name and logo, the built-in wallpaper collections and all software behind them remain ours or our licensors'. These terms do not grant you any right to use our branding, and you may not copy, redistribute or resell the built-in collections as your own.

The service depends on Apple, Cloudflare, our AI generation providers and our content-safety provider. Their availability is outside our control, and their own terms apply to their part of the service.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will meet your expectations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you break these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — content licences for published wallpapers, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law — continue to apply.

This agreement is between you and inkWallpaper only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app; to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability, regulatory non-compliance or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Hong Kong have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, or of the right to bring proceedings there.

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will update the date at the top of this page and surface a notice in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the updated terms.
